Hardware Reliability Engineer, Electrical (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Perform detailed failure analysis of Starshield hardware to identify root causes.
• Use schematics, test equipment, and inspection to understand failure physics.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain to boost reliability.
• Work with test engineers to improve assets, reduce false failures, and boost coverage.
• Monitor yield and quality metrics; drive corrective actions for non-conforming products.
• Conduct benchtop environmental testing to validate product robustness.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or physics.
• 1+ years in hardware development, failure analysis, or reliability engineering (internship/co-op qualifies).
• Active Top Secret clearance or willingness to obtain.
• 3+ years of industry experience with electronic hardware.
• Experience with digital/mixed-signal designs, power electronics, or RF; use test equipment.
• Proficiency in Python, C, or C++ for test automation and data analysis.
