Hardware Engineer (Metal Classic)

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and optimize server hardware infrastructure for high-performance workloads.
• Develop and maintain hardware/firmware management services for reliability.
• Automate server hardware lifecycle: provisioning, configuration, monitoring, decommissioning.
• Serve as the senior contact for hardware escalations and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation of hardware designs and tests.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient in Ansible and Python; IPMI/Redfish with server BMCs.
• Deep understanding of server hardware, components, and mgmt tech.
• Stays current with server hardware tech and data-center trends.
• Experience collaborating with hardware vendors to evaluate and deploy solutions.
• Strong automation passion and reliable, automated processes.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
