Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Urology

We are seeking a hospital and clinic-based role Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Palm Desert and Palm Springs, CA.

This is a full-time, clinic-based role with a Monday-Friday schedule only. You will work 1:1 with a trained urologist specializing in male/female urology.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient care to patients with conditions such as incontinence, vaginal prolapse, recurrent UTIs, pelvic pain, etc.
• Examine patients and review their medical records
• Order and study diagnostic tests
• This role will conduct hospital rounds, admission and consults for local hospitals
• Diagnose conditions and propose treatments
• Assist with patient calls, medication refills, and other administrative tasks
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
• Educate patients and their family members on good health practices
• Perform other duties assigned

Qualifications:

• Active CA State License
• Willingness to commit to learning the specialty
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
• Proficient in using electronic medical record systems (EMR)
• Patient empathy

Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 Annual
