:- Use SQL to analyze clinical, operational,financial, and administrative datagenerated inEpic’selectronic health record (EHR) and practice management (PM)systemsand stored in Epic’s back-end Clarity data model.
- Leverage Epic’sin-appreportingtoolsincludingSlicer Dicer,ReportingWorkbench(RWB), and Radar toanswerdata questionsfrom internal Habitat customersin the simplest / easiest/ most scalableway possible.
- Enable leadership to make evidence-based decisions bydesigning, building,andmaintainingbusiness intelligencedashboards anddatapipelines using tools such as Power BI, SQL,and Git
- Work with engineering to design anddevelopETL processes that supportconsistentKPI reportingvia Data Martswith clear documentation that codifies ourstandard “business rules” layer
- Develop rigorousdata qualitytests, QCbestpractices,code reviews /Gitpull requests,dashboard release processes, andproper documentationtoensureyour work isaccurateand clearly communicated
- Developdetailedclinical logic and code setsforpatient cohorts andquality measuresincludingdiagnosis groupers,hospital admissions, readmissions, ED visits, SNF visitsetc.across a widerange of clinical facts and dimensions
- Build externallyfacingreportsincluding PACE-specific measures and CMS/ Medicaidregulatoryand auditreportingin a scalable manner
- Work closely with other data team members to ensure youbenefitfrom all thegreat workhappening around you!
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experienceworking directly with Epic’s Clarity data model
- Expert level understanding of Clarity, Slicer Dicer, and Workbench (this is a MUST!)
- Highly proficient inSQLand at least 1 dashboard development tool
- Strong understanding of healthcare dataontologiesincludingCPT, HCPCS,HCC,ICD-10, NDC,Revenue Codes, Type of Bill, LOINC, UB/HCFA claims,etc.
- Experience developing longitudinal patient analyses using complex clinical logic
- Demonstratedexperience building dashboards and reports in Power BI or similar platforms
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical concepts tonon-technical stakeholders
- Track recordof working in cross-functional teams, ideally in a value-based care, PACE, or managed care environment
- Strong attention to detail and data quality, with a mindset toward reproducibility and documentation
Nice to have:
- Experience developing in a modern data stack using Databricks, Python, and/or Airflow
- Experience working in early-stage or rapidly scaling healthcare organizations
- Experiencewith Medicare Advantage, PACE, and / or dual eligible populations
Compensation:
Wetake into accountan individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience indeterminingfinalsalary.This role is eligible for medical/dental/vision insurance, short and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) savings, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The expected salary range for this position
is $90,000 - $110,000 and is bonus-eligible. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion anddeterminedby relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.Vaccination Policy, including COVID-19
