📋 Description

• Policy Alignment: Implement and maintain the Group Sanctions Standard across LATAM entities.
• Advisory & Escalation: Senior point of escalation for sanctions alerts.
• Regional Oversight: Oversee LATAM/Brazil sanctions risk landscape.
• Regulatory Liaison: Stay updated on Brazil/LATAM sanctions; ensure compliance.
• Stakeholder Management: Work with MLROs, Group Head of Sanctions, front office.
• Training & Culture: Deliver sanctions training to regional teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Sanctions Expertise: 3–5 years in sanctions compliance in FinTech, FX, or corporate banking.
• Regional Knowledge: Deep LATAM regulatory knowledge including Brazil.
• Technical Proficiency: Analyze complex corporate structures and trade docs.
• Global Standards: Knowledge of OFAC, EU, and UK sanctions regimes.
• Communication: Portuguese and English essential; Spanish advantageous.
• Decisiveness: Make firm, risk-based decisions under pressure and SLAs.
