Group Financial Controller (6-month contract)

📋 Description

• Lead all accounting ops, including month-end close, ensuring accuracy and deadlines
• Oversee payroll, AP, AR, and global cash flow and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory reporting and audits
• Manage the global financial control team and collaborate with business units
• Partner with Group Finance and Tax teams on compliance, reporting and tax optimization
• Drive process improvements in accounting, payroll and AP; support budgeting and forecasting

🎯 Requirements

• Regulatory and compliance matters from a financial perspective
• Director-level experience or strong exposure to director responsibilities
• Experience working with external auditors and tax advisors
• Practical month-end and annual closing accounting and planning
• Understanding of IFRS accounting practices
• Experience leading and developing a finance team
• Experience in a software/tech company, ideally global
