Ground Systems Engineer, Asset Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead engineer for fluids ground systems (compressible, incompressible, cryogenic).
• Apply heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluids dynamics, controls, instrumentation.
• Manage cross-functional teams to design and sustain fluids projects.
• Identify and implement fluids system upgrades for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production teams to anticipate fluids needs and improve manufacturability.
• Support technicians with testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or aerospace engineering.
• Experience with fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and/or process engineering.
• 5+ years hands-on cryogenic fluid systems experience.
• Designing and operating fluid systems expertise.
• PLC programming experience – Siemens preferred.
• CAD modeling in NX or SolidWorks.
