Ground Network Specialist (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Deploy, troubleshoot, and repair Starshield ground hardware.
• Own reliability of the global ground station fleet.
• Travel domestically and internationally to gateway sites.
• Manage the Hawthorne lab space and in-house hardware solutions.
• Diagnose fiber optic and antenna hardware failures.
• Improve training documentation for team skills.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years as a mechanic or technician in field services (telecom/ISP).
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on IT/network rack experience (UPS, PDUs, cables, servers, network devices).
• Electrical knowledge: low voltage power distribution, Ohm's Law.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
