GridUnity is a trusted partner to leading utilities, grid operators, and policymakers. Our technology solutions tackle the interconnection queue backlog by significantly reducing processing times. Whether cutting transmission interconnection timelines from years to months or enabling distribution applications to be processed within a day, we help accelerate energy projects at every scale.
Our Vision

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Sr. Analyst, Regulatory & Market Insights, you will play a key role in monitoring regulatory developments, synthesizing market signals, and translating them into actionable insights that inform GridUnity’s product roadmap and platform strategy. You will help ensure GridUnity anticipates and responds to regulatory change with clarity and consistency, so that our solutions continue to meet the evolving needs of all stakeholders in the grid interconnection and planning ecosystem — from transmission operators and utilities to generation and large load developers. This position will report to the Director, Product Enablement.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build a comprehensive view of the interconnection and planning ecosystem — regulatory, competitor, partner, technology, and market developments — to enable GridUnity a strategic view of its products in context. Examples of this work include:
Track and analyze regulatory developments across federal, state, regional, and utility forums — including rulemaking, proceedings, regulatory filings, and stakeholder processes — to surface trends that may shape interconnection requirements and market dynamics.
Develop and maintain a proprietary GridUnity Market Radar that monitors how technology providers and market participants respond to regulatory shifts, providing structured input to product prioritization.
Proactively identify product-market risks and support the creation of mitigation plans to reduce exposure.
Leverage GridUnity tools, documentation, and public sources to develop proprietary views of interconnection and planning processes, and use these insights to facilitate discussion that define product roadmap and strategy.
Execute a systematic regulatory change-detection framework and maintain an inventory that maps regulatory requirements to product features and decisions, enabling GridUnity to quickly assess impacts and determine when product modifications are needed.
Co-develop and operationalize a Voice of Customer (VoC) program, and represent Product Enablement in ongoing VoC activities to ensure customer perspectives are embedded in roadmap planning and feature adoption.
Provide regulatory and market context to the Product Alignment Council and Product Lifecycle Council to strengthen the quality and durability of product and implementation decisions.
Collaborate with Product Enablement peers to embed regulatory and market insights into rollout playbooks, adoption frameworks, and the Enablement knowledge base.
Synthesize and communicate insights through briefs, summaries, and presentations that educate the GridUnity organizations on critical topics.
