• Design, develop, and scale back-end systems that serve millions of users
• Power amazing user experiences by building new features and improving existing ones
• Evaluate and refine solutions to deliver a highly performant and exceptionally reliable back-end system
• Become an expert in back-end development and expand your development across the stack and to various platforms
• Collaborate across teams to define how our systems should evolve
• Support code quality, new technologies, and architectural design within the company
• Uphold and advance the security and reliability of Superhuman’s systems
• Technologies we use: Go, Postgres, Redis, Kubernetes, Google Cloud

• Experience: You have 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 4 years focused on back-end development. You’re an expert in Go, TypeScript, or Python. You have deep expertise in architecting for performance and scale.
• AI Enthusiast: You believe AI will revolutionize not only how we work but also the experiences we create for our customers. Driven by passion and curiosity, you leverage AI to dramatically increase your own productivity and the impact of your team.

• Asynchronous Communicator: You’re effective across various mediums (especially Slack, Notion, and email) and can produce and consume detailed written materials as needed without sacrificing speed. You respond quickly and thoughtfully to help others and expedite the process.

Superhuman takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location.

Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below and may be modified in the future.

• SF/NY/Seattle: $180,000-$306,000
• Other US geographies: $162,000-$275,000
• Canada: $128,000-$246,000 CAD
• Mexico: $101,000-$199,000 MXN
