Grade Setter

📋 Description

• Set up and calibrate base and rover survey equipment (Trimble/Topcon).
• Perform surveying for stakeouts and grading checks using Trimble/Topcon.
• Manage GPS-enabled construction equipment configurations and data.
• Use handheld radios to coordinate tasks and resources.
• Read and comply with safety plans, SDS, signs, and manuals.
• Work extended hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to drive for company business.
• 5+ years experience in grade setting and layout for horizontal construction.
• 5+ years experience using Trimble GPS equipment.
• 5+ years experience setting grades, slopes, and understanding cut and fills.
• Ability to work with others or independently under minimal supervision.
