Government Contract Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Lead government contracting accounting for clients under FAR/DCAA.
• Manage staff for transaction entry, cleanup, and invoicing (FFP, T&M, CPFF).
• Review statements and indirect cost rate calculations for gov contractors.
• Advise clients on cost allowability, allocability, and compliance.
• Develop annual forward pricing budgets for planning and compliance.
• Mentor junior accountants and ensure high-quality deliverables.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years in government contracting, public accounting, or outsourced accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of FAR and CAS.
• Expertise in preparing the Incurred Cost Submission.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Unanet.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage client relationships.
