Phone Team Develops Voice and SMS solutions for seamless e-commerce customer support, integrating third-party telephony and enhancing voice automation.
Apps Team Builds native apps connecting Gorgias to external services, including messaging (e.g., Gmail) and e-commerce (e.g., Shopify) integrations.
Developer Relations Team Ensures a secure, well-documented API, enabling external developers to build and connect apps, and supporting a growing app ecosystem. Second, that team is in charge of providing authentication & authorization capacities to external and internal developers.
Growth Team Manages the user journey from onboarding to billing, ensuring a seamless experience while preventing fraudsters from abusing the platform.
In-App Analytics Team Creates in-product analytics and real-time processing features, supporting internal teams with advanced tooling and datasets.
Streaming Infrastructure Team Builds a scalable data streaming platform, providing tooling, monitoring, and guidelines to propagate and aggregate data across multiple availability zones
Team up with Product and Design to build clean, responsive, and super-fast features that solve real customer problems.
Optimize our apps for speed and scalability, ensuring they work smoothly on any browser
Write clear, maintainable code, and follow best practices—while keeping things flexible and pragmatic.
Work in an agile environment, collaborate on code reviews, and help us ship top-notch features quickly.
You’ve got 5+ years of experience with TypeScript and React.
You know the ins and outs of the frontend stack—CDN, Cache, bundlers (vite, webpack/rspack), test runners (jest/vitest), CI/CD.
You’ve worked in high-traffic environments — where scalability and performance are crucial.
You’re comfortable balancing frontend and backend needs and can give thoughtful input on API design.
You follow best practices, but you're not afraid to make smart trade-offs when necessary. You build scalable and reliable frontend applications:
You leverage React composition model to build reusable, well tested and flexible components.
You're familiar with modern async state handling (react-query).
Inversion of control and the testing pyramid are familiar concepts to you.
You know how to build great UIs that look good and feel even better, using modern CSS and UX principles.
Nice to have: You’re familiar with WebSockets.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Pnpm for tooling
You’re familiar with frontend UI/UX scaling topics like design systems
You’re interested in frontend architecture and platform work
Our interview process consists of 4 main steps and typically takes around two weeks from the initial screening to the offer stage, with feedback provided every 48 hours.
