Senior Counsel, Employment & Litigation

📋 Description

• Own and lead the full litigation docket, including employment and commercial matters.
• Lead in-house litigation matters, from intake to resolution; direct outside counsel on strategy and discovery.
• Handle pre-litigation matters in-house; respond to demands and negotiate settlements.
• Be the primary internal contact for litigated matters; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Partner with VP, Legal on complex matters; escalate issues as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–10+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Significant employment litigation experience plus counseling.
• JD from an accredited law school; US bar admission.
• Ability to manage matters independently and supervise outside counsel.
• Experience with independent contractor, gig economy, or worker classification issues is a plus.
• Hybrid role requiring 3 days in office at Spring Garden HQ.
