About the team

The Product team is responsible for driving lead generation and management of leads. We do this by building innovative products & features that solve real-world problems for agencies and allow them to consolidate their offering to their clients in a single platform packaged under their white-labled brand.

The marketing products OS team focuses exclusively on products that can demonstrate lead generation and drive up engagement, adoption in target segments. This team handles multiple product areas including Blogging, Social Planner, Email Marketing, Chat widget, Affiliate manager, Chat Widget, Template Library, Brand Boards etc.

The role

We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for three core products: Social Planner, Blogs, and Ad Manager.

You’ll be responsible for turning a strong product vision into reality, driving meaningful business and customer impact, and leveling up the product team around you. You’ll directly mentor and grow a team of APMs into solid PM2-level product managers while partnering closely with Design, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and GTM.

This is a highly strategic, high-impact role for someone who can think in systems, ship fast with quality, and raise the bar for product management across the organization.

What You’ll Own

1. Product Strategy & Vision

- Own the

end-to-end product strategy and roadmap

for Social Planner, Blogs, and Ad Manager.

- Translate company and product vision into

clear north-star metrics

, long-term bets, and a sequenced 12–18 month roadmap.

Identify and validate the most impactful problems to solve for our core customers (agencies, marketers, SMBs, etc.).

2. Ad Manager – Smart, Data-Driven, AI-First System

- Evolve Ad Manager into a

smarter, less API-dependent, more data-reliant, AI-driven system

aligned with the long-term product vision.

Partner with Data and Engineering to:

- Design systems that use

first-party and performance data

to optimize campaigns, budgets, and targeting.

- Reduce fragility and over-reliance on external APIs by building

intelligent abstractions and fallbacks

.

- Integrate

AI-driven recommendations

, automation, and guardrails to improve campaign outcomes and reduce manual work.

- Define and track success metrics such as campaign performance, time-to-launch, and user adoption of smart features.

3. Social Planner – UI/UX Excellence & Competitive Parity

- Own Social Planner as a

core flagship experience

that can compete with other tools

- Lead major improvements across:

- UI & workflows

(scheduling, approvals, calendar, collaboration, automations, comment management).

- Statistics & reporting

(post performance, account-level insights, content analytics).

- Controls for owners

(permissions, approvals, governance, workspace controls).

- Partner with Design to deliver a

clean, intuitive, and scalable UX

, and ensure high-quality execution with Engineering.

4. Blogs – WordPress-Level Experience with AI & Automation

- Make the HighLevel blogging experience

seamless and familiar

, comparable to platforms like WordPress, Wix, and Blogger.

- Define and drive a roadmap that:

- Modernizes the

editor experience

into a full-featured, reliable, WYSIWYG-style (or block-based) editor.

- Introduces powerful

AI-assisted workflows

(content creation, outlines, rewrites, image suggestions, internal linking).

- Improves

SEO tooling

(on-page recommendations, metadata support, schema basics, publishing workflows).

- Ensure blogs integrate smoothly into the broader HighLevel ecosystem (funnels, websites, SEO, content strategy).

5. Execution, Delivery & Cross-Functional Leadership

- Turn strategy into

clear, prioritized roadmaps

, well-defined problem statements, and detailed specs where needed.

- Run

discovery

(customer interviews, data analysis, experiments) to validate problems and solutions.

- Partner with Engineering to plan releases, manage scope, and ensure

predictable and high-quality delivery

.

- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Support, and Customer Success to:

- Shape

positioning, messaging, and GTM plans

.

- Enable internal teams with the right documentation and training.

- Incorporate market/field feedback quickly into the roadmap.

6. Mentorship & Team Development

- Directly mentor and

grow two APMs into strong PM2s

, with clear expectations, coaching, and feedback.

- Build a culture of

data-informed, customer-obsessed, outcome-driven

product management.

- Lead by example on

craft

: PRDs, problem framing, stakeholder management, and prioritization.

- Evangelize best practices around experimentation, discovery, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

- 9-12+ years

of experience in Product Management, with at least

3+ years at Senior/Staff/Principal level

owning complex product areas.

- Proven track record of

shipping impactful products

in B2B SaaS, ideally in:

- Marketing automation

- Social media management

- Advertising platforms

- Content / CMS / blogging tools

- Strong

technical aptitude

:

- Understanding of APIs, data flows, and system design at a conceptual level.

- Experience working with

data/ML/AI-driven products

is a strong plus.

- Deep experience with

discovery and experimentation

: Defining metrics, running A/B tests, analyzing usage data, and validating hypotheses.

- Demonstrated ability to

rebuild or significantly revamp complex UX flows

(dashboards, editors, planners, calendars, etc.).

- Experience

mentoring and developing PMs/APMs

, with examples of helping them level up.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to

influence senior stakeholders

and drive alignment.

- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, high-growth environments with multiple priorities.
