Senior Director Corporate Development

GoDaddy is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Development to drive the company's inorganic growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and other growth initiatives. This on-site leadership role collaborates with the CEO and senior leadership to shape the company’s strategy, identify targets, lead deal execution, and manage cross-functional integration.

What You’ll Do

• Lead development and execution of GoDaddy's corporate development agenda, including target sourcing, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and deal closing.
• Source and evaluate potential acquisitions, partnerships, and divestitures that align with strategic priorities.
• Build robust financial models, synergy analyses, and business cases; present recommendations to the executive team.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence and integration planning; coordinate with Finance, Legal, Product, Marketing, and Operations.
• Mentor and manage a team of analysts and associates; foster professional growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or related fields; MBA preferred.
• Proven track record of leading complex transactions and successful integrations in technology/digital platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical, modeling, negotiation, and communication skills; demonstrated leadership and collaboration.
• On-site availability in the United States (Santa Clara, CA or Kirkland, WA) with occasional travel.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

On-site in Santa Clara, California and Kirkland, Washington (GoDaddy offices) with potential for other US locations.

Compensation

Salary range: approximately $169,000 – $303,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
