GNC Simulation Engineer I

📋 Description

• Contribute to the 6DOF simulation for GNC development and HITL testing
• Collaborate with analysis and hardware teams to integrate subsystem models into the simulator
• Implement numerical solvers and physics models
• Develop simulation configuration, scheduling, logging, and Monte Carlo capabilities
• Create interfaces between GNC algorithms and the simulation
• Maintain and improve the development environment for simulation users

🎯 Requirements

• Undergrad or graduate degree in engineering, physics, or math
• Proficiency in C++, Rust, and Python
• Experience developing physics-based simulations
• Relevant student projects, internships, or full-time experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Ability to own end-to-end solutions with a high degree of independence
• Nice to have: launch vehicle/aerospace sims; HPC; Docker; CI/CD
