GNC Engineer, Fleet Management (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Develop robust GNC algorithms, flight software, simulations, and dashboards (C++/Python)
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews
• Constellation design and network-level analysis of existing and proposed systems
• Bulk analysis of performance data from Starshield constellation and payloads
• Write high-quality technical docs for programs, algorithms, or analyses
• Support on-call ops rotation, commanding satellites and reviewing data to keep systems operating

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace, physics, or an engineering discipline
• Software development experience in either C++ or Python
• Master's degree or Ph.D. in engineering, CS, or physics (preferred)
• Experience with GNC, orbital mechanics, and simulations
• Familiarity with Alfano, Foster, and Hall collision methods
• Active Top Secret/SCI or DOE Level Q clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain one
