Job Description

Glossier is seeking an Associate Store Director in Washington, DC to lead store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This senior retail leadership role requires you to manage store performance, coach and develop a high-performing team, ensure visual merchandising standards, maintain inventory control, and enforce loss prevention and safety protocols. You will collaborate with regional teams to achieve revenue targets and uphold Glossier’s brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store leadership and frontline staff to deliver outstanding customer service and sales results
• Oversee daily store operations, scheduling, and supervision to ensure smooth and efficient store performance
• Maintain compelling visual merchandising and in-store presentation that reflects Glossier’s brand
• Manage inventory control, shrink reduction, and loss prevention measures
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and security procedures
• Recruit, onboard, and develop team members; coach for performance and growth
• Partner with regional leadership to implement initiatives and achieve store targets

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail store leadership or equivalent management experience in a fast-paced environment
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals and delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
