Global Supply Manager, Vehicle Platforms

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end direct materials supply chain for Vehicle Platforms.
• Interface with manufacturing partners to ensure supply continuity and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Legal to align supply chain strategy with roadmaps.
• Lead supplier & category management with scorecards, reviews, and KPIs.
• Manage supplier base across full product lifecycle—NPI through EOL—with capacity and qualification.
• Drive EOL and second-source strategies to mitigate single-source risk.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in direct materials procurement/strategic sourcing in hardware-heavy environment.
• Experience managing physical product categories (consumer electronics, bicycles, e-mobility, robotics).
• Deep knowledge of APAC supplier ecosystems and manufacturing processes (FATP, SMT, mechanical assembly, battery pack assembly).
• Proven track record leading complex commercial negotiations with Tier 1 and 2 suppliers.
• Strong BOM cost structures, should-cost modeling, and cost reduction methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs through NPI, DVT/PVT, MP phases.
