Global Supply Manager, Mechanical (Starlink Product)

📋 Description

• Develop and manage supply base for solar and battery sourcing for Starlink UTs and ground stations.
• Provide weekly status reporting and escalate to management when needed.
• Train and mentor the team to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with key suppliers to create sourcing and cost strategies for current and new products.
• Work with internal stakeholders on capital purchases and production consumables.
• Identify cost, space, and process optimization opportunities using equipment knowledge and data analytics.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Alternatively, 10+ years in these areas.
• Experience negotiating contracts and sourcing global suppliers.
• Experience with global sourcing and interfacing with suppliers worldwide.
• Experience in solar and/or battery fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• ITAR: eligible for export authorization per US regulations.
• Travel up to 50% including international trips.
• Flexible hours and weekends as needed.
• This position is onsite in Bastrop, TX.
