Lead and develop sanctions managers and analysts across regions, ensuring quality and throughput
Own the strategic direction of Stripe's global sanctions program and screening coverage
Drive the transformation roadmap and lead automation for smarter detection
Partner with Engineering and Product to translate sanctions needs into tooling for new capabilities
Ensure audit trails, explainability, and examiner-readiness; lead regulatory exams
Serve as senior escalation point for complex casework

🎯 Requirements

10+ years in sanctions compliance with cross-regional leadership
Deep expertise in OFAC, EU, HMT, UN sanctions and screening methodologies
Proven track record improving sanctions program operations
Experience with sanctions screening platforms and tooling
Ability to partner with Engineering and Product on tooling design and workflow automation
Excellent communicator across regulators, senior leadership, and engineering teams
