Global Payroll Director

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end payroll for 2000+ employees across US, Canada, Europe, Asia.
• Ensure accurate, timely payroll per local tax and labor regs.
• Lead year-end processing and country reporting (W-2s, T4s).
• Maintain internal controls, reconciliations, and payroll SOX narratives.
• Mentor payroll team; partner with HRIS and Finance across functions.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of US domestic and international payroll experience.
• Experience with Workday Payroll is required.
• Expertise in state/local payroll taxes, benefits, 401k, wage/hour regs.
• Expert knowledge of payroll best practices and wage/hour compliance.
• Lead system optimization and deployments in new countries.
• Create and run customized Workday reports for tax/compliance.
• Working knowledge of payroll accounting/GL.
