Global Opportunities Internship - Octopus Energy Generation

📋 Description

• Work closely with OEGen and local partners to support renewable energy investment activities in Africa
• Conduct market research, opportunity mapping, and sector analysis to build OEPA’s opportunity pipeline
• Track policy, regulatory, and macro developments across key power markets to inform investment strategy
• Support investor engagement with materials, briefings, and updates for leadership
• Contribute to initial commercial assessment and early-stage screening
• Support stakeholder engagement and on-the-ground insights for the Sierra Leone project

🎯 Requirements

• Genuine interest in clean energy, global development, or emerging markets
• Analytical mindset; interest in finance, infrastructure, or energy markets is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear, confident communication – comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders
• Willingness to take ownership and drive workstreams independently
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
