The Role

We’re looking for a Technical Writer to craft beautiful docs -both to help our customers suceed and to showcase GitBook's potential who also enjoys working directly with customers to improve their own documentation.

You'll own our entire documentation experience: from writing and structuring content to ensuring technical accuracy, visual consistency and top notch user experience.

What you'll do

• Own our docs entirely - from content design to API references and visual presentation.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Design to clarify technical concepts and maintain consistency.

• Continuously refine guides and structure to improve usability.

• Work directly with our enterprise customers as a docs expert who can provide advice on things like docs structure.

You might be a fit if you

• Have proven experience as a Technical Writer

• Are comfortable working with Git-based workflows

• Communicate complex technical ideas in a simple, approachable way

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
