General Trades Cost Estimator

📋 Description

• Research and add new CSI MasterFormat divisions to the cost database with costs
• Update and clarify existing unit costs and item descriptions
• Identify item relationships to create assembly based unit costs
• Evaluate and approve or reject contractor submitted items and costs
• Collaborate with estimators, architects, engineers, client reps
• May handle other responsibilities as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in engineering or construction management preferred; 3+ years experience; or 5 years in lieu
• Thorough knowledge of cost estimating across commercial buildings; MasterFormat/UniFormat
• Ability to adopt and utilize multiple software platforms
• Experience with CSI MasterFormat and UniFormat coding
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, collaboration, and time management skills
