- Support monthly and annual closings under HGB; IFRS reporting adjustments.
- Own defined closing areas (provisions, accruals, assets, intercompany).
- Run regular account reconciliations; ensure clean main vs sub-ledgers (AP, AR, Payroll).
- Prepare audit documentation; assist auditors with requests.
- Be the internal stakeholder contact for accounting questions.
- Support migration from DATEV to Workday ERP; help optimize processes.
🎯 Requirements
- 2–4 years experience in General Ledger Accounting in a German HGB environment.
- First practical IFRS experience (reporting or audit).
- Proficient with ERP systems DATEV, Workday, SAP, Navision and strong Excel.
- Structured, careful and independent working style.
- High attention to detail and responsibility.
- Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking.
- Experience in a SaaS or subscription based company is a plus.
