Own public company legal duties, including SEC reporting, governance, and Board matters
Advise CEO, exec team, and Board on strategy, risk, governance, and regulatory matters
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal and operational risk
Lead dispute management across the business
Reduce outside counsel reliance by strengthening in-house capabilities and sharp negotiation
Build scalable legal processes and actively use AI tools to drive efficiency

🎯 Requirements

12+ years of legal experience, incl. corporate and in-house at a public tech company
Bachelor's and law degree; bar admission in good standing (New York preferred)
Deep SEC compliance, public company reporting, and corporate governance
Executive presence to work with CEOs, Boards, regulators, and investors; NYC office most days
Experience managing disputed matters
