Senior Marketing Managers may have varying day-to-day responsibilities based on their assigned accounts and the client team needs. Each client team has a Roles and Responsibilities document that outlines each team member’s core role, which may shift and evolve over the lifecycle of the client account.

Integrated & Multi-Channel Marketing Experience

  • Leads storytelling campaigns across various media platforms (paid, owned, earned, or shared) and can confidently articulate the benefits of a multi-channel approach and how to potentially leverage these channels to deliver better client programs
  • Can analyze digital analytics to provide advice on strategies to clients for digital and marketing campaigns and how to pull data and review social listening to provide tactical digital recommendations to clients
  • Develops and leads multi-channel programs on behalf of clients and can ensure expert execution of program ideas
  • Identifies opportunities to apply insights from integrated campaigns across the agency, as well as for use in business development and marketing (case studies, awards submissions, etc.)
  • Identifies opportunities for leadership and collaboration with senior team members to expand client programs through integrated activities
  • Financial Services Experience

  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of the overall financial services industry, spending at least 5 years working with financial services clients, with knowledge across the buy-and-sell side, banking, capital markets, etc., as well as associated areas (e.g. fintechs, insurtech, etc)
  • Maintains expertise inthe financial service industry verticals of interest where they have developed a niche expertise
  • Is an expert on their clients’ business and can proactively consult clients on marketing/comms strategies based on that knowledge
  • Strategic Client Partnership & Account Management

  • Leads and manages various projects across functional teams to ensure they’re meeting client needs (content, digital marketing, PR, design)
  • Provides support as needed on new business initiatives - which may include research, pitch decks or Vested events
  • Exhibits deep understanding of and can confidently speak to clients’ business, customer base, and products/services
  • Can confidently articulate client goals and the strategy behind how to achieve them while identifying opportunities to expand Vested’s services for a client to help them achieve business/marketing goals
  • Provides reports on program progress to showcase a clear understanding of client goals over a variety of forms of communication (email, metrics dashboard, slideshow presentation, in-person discussion, etc.)
  • Candelegate client work to juniors and peers, providing a clear explanation of the assignment and how it maps back to client goals
  • Fully understands what client KPIs are and works with the client to ensure those KPIs are being met
