Full Stack Engineer - Matter

📋 Description

• Own full-stack features end-to-end: DB models, APIs, frontend integration, UX.
• Design and extend backend systems powering agent orchestration, subagents, retrieval, and workflows.
• Build and evolve REST APIs that are stable, well-typed, and easy to consume.
• Integrate and debug LLM-powered workflows with reliability and observability.
• Ensure frontend and backend interoperate with tight contracts and predictable data flow.
• Improve performance, resilience, and security as usage grows.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with end-to-end ownership
• Strong hands-on Python and/or Node.js backend and React + TypeScript frontend
• Deep front-end state management experience (React Query/TanStack)
• Relational data modeling with PostgreSQL
• Cloud experience (GCP or similar) and containerized services (Docker; Kubernetes a plus)
• Proven AI/ML integration in production (LLMs, retrieval-augmented workflows or agentic systems)
