The Role

As their HubSpot Solutions Architect, you’ll design, develop, and deploy technical solutions that integrate HubSpot with third-party platforms. You’ll translate customer requirements into well-architected workflows using HubSpot Operations Hub, middleware tools like Make and Zapier, and direct API development.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end delivery role where you’ll own projects from scoping through to deployment, collaborating closely with clients, internal teams, and developers to deliver reliable, scalable, and impactful solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Working with internal and client teams to define integration requirements and solution architectures.

  • Reviewing API documentation to assess system capabilities and design integration workflows.

  • Building integrations using HubSpot custom-coded workflows, middleware tools (Make.com, Zapier), and API development in JavaScript (Node.js) or Python.
    Performing QA, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth delivery.

  • Maintaining technical documentation and collaborating with project managers to keep projects on track.

  • Identifying risks, blockers, and technical recommendations early in delivery.

  • Contributing to the productisation of repeatable solutions and reusable components.

  • Staying ahead of HubSpot releases and emerging integration technologies.

  • Overly Rigid Processes: We value innovation and adaptability over sticking to outdated playbooks.

Goals for the First Year

  • Within 3 Months: Successfully scope and deliver multiple HubSpot integrations with third-party tools, meeting client expectations on performance and usability.
    Within 6 Months: Create reusable technical components and documentation to speed up future delivery.

  • By Year’s End: Be the go-to technical authority for HubSpot integrations, shaping ScaleStation’s integration strategy and influencing the automation roadmap.

This Role is a Great Fit if You…

  • Have 3+ years’ experience in systems integration and solution engineering.

  • Are confident working with REST APIs, HubSpot Operations Hub, and middleware tools.

  • Write clean, maintainable code in JavaScript (Node.js) and/or Python.

  • Enjoy problem-solving, testing, and delivering solutions that scale.

  • Can manage multiple concurrent projects without dropping the ball.

  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This Won’t Be the Right Role if You…

  • Avoid hands-on coding or technical problem-solving.

  • Prefer a narrow role with limited project ownership.

  • Struggle with managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Need constant direction instead of driving delivery yourself.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience with HubSpot Operations Hub and integrations.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) and/or Python.

  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and data synchronisation.

  • Experience with middleware platforms like Make.com and Zapier.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation and reusable components.
