Lay groundwork for AI-native frontend development
Drive consistency and best practices across Stripe JS codebases via tooling
Own SLOs for build performance, install speed, and tooling reliability
Debug and resolve developer-facing incidents during on-call; support UI engineers across Stripe
Partner with frontend product and platform teams to reduce friction and improve edit/build/test loop

🎯 Requirements

2+ years of software dev; strong JS/TS foundation
Modern frontend ecosystem experience with global apps
Deep systems thinking: edge cases and failure modes
Motivated by improving engineers' productivity
Comfortable with high autonomy on ambiguous problems
Preferred: tooling experience; React background helpful
