  • Own fraud program end-to-end: strategy, rules, and response protocols.
  • Build investigation workflows for chargebacks, disputes, and suspicious activity.
  • Reduce fraud losses by identifying vectors and implementing controls without harming UX.
  • Partner with Payments & Engineering to shape fraud tooling roadmaps.
  • Manage chargeback and dispute operations end-to-end, including evidence and win-rate optimization.
  • Build dashboards and alerts for real-time fraud trends and exposure.

🎯 Requirements

  • 5+ years in fraud operations, payments risk, or trust & safety.
  • Hands-on chargebacks, disputes, and investigations; know card network rules and wins in representments.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret transaction data, spot patterns, set thresholds, and measure impact.
  • Experience using AI tools to automate workflows (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor).
  • Experience building fraud programs from early stages or maturing existing ones.
  • Familiar with Stripe and Adyen and other fraud detection tools.
