Fraud Operations Lead

📋 Description

• Lead and develop the fraud risk team to protect Shakepay and customers.
• Own fraud ops performance, capacity planning, escalation, and process improvement.
• Act as DRI for fraud and risk initiatives across engineering, product, data, and compliance.
• Drive the evolution of fraud prevention and risk operations, balancing automation and customer experience.
• Partner with engineering and data to improve risk tooling, workflows, and reporting.
• Use data to identify fraud trends and optimize decisioning and efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years leading risk, fraud, trust & safety, or operational risk in fintech/crypto.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain fraud vectors, and digital asset risk.
• Proven experience coaching high-performing ops teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Cross-functional leadership as DRI across engineering, product, design, data, and ops.
• Hands-on analytics including SQL and data analysis; experience with risk tooling.
• Experience building scalable risk operations balancing automation, controls, and customer experience.
