Fraud Detection and Prevention Lead

📋 Description

• Analyze transaction and behavioral data to build fraud detection methods
• Collaborate with Fraud Ops, Data Science, and Engineering to design detection rules
• Optimize fraud rules and thresholds to reduce false positives and balance customer experience
• Develop dashboards and alerts to monitor fraud prevention performance
• Partner with payment networks and third-party fraud vendors to strengthen detection
• Deliver actionable insights on fraud trends and financial impact to stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 7+ years in risk or fraud detection, incl. rules, models, analytics
• 5+ years SQL experience; proficient in Python or similar scripting languages
• Strong analytical and statistical skills; pattern recognition and unsupervised learning
• Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau/Looker/Superset) to drive decisions
• Effective communicator/collaborator across operations, data science, and engineering
