Foundations Designer, Design Systems

📋 Description

• Design and maintain visual asset systems across KAYAK's brands.
• Contribute to motion language, timing principles, and reduced-motion guidance.
• Define design tokens across brands and platforms (web, iOS, Android).
• Partner with engineering to align design foundations with production.
• Build and maintain scalable Figma libraries for components and docs.
• Collaborate with product pods to improve adoption and iteration.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a product design organization.
• Experience building and shipping scalable icon or illustration systems.
• Experience contributing to or owning motion systems.
• Strong Figma proficiency with components, properties, and variables.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to optimize design processes.
• Comfort collaborating with engineers and front-end workflows like Storybook and GitHub.
