- Own end-to-end deployment of Auterion's software on customer UAVs in C++.
- Collaborate with product engineering to design customer features in embedded Linux/RTOS.
- Serve as subject-matter expert on PX4 and Auterion OS to tune flight control.
- Act as primary engineering contact for customer teams, diagnosing integration issues.
- Produce integration guides, code samples, and reference implementations to speed deployments.
- Coordinate with internal teams to close feedback loops between deployments and product roadmap.
๐ฏ Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on C++ software engineering in embedded/robotics.
- Strong understanding of embedded Linux (systemd, device trees, IPC, RT constraints).
- Experience deploying software onto UAV/autonomous platforms, incl. PX4.
- Familiarity with MAVLink, ROS2, or similar robotics middleware.
- Comfortable leading customer engineering teams in a technical capacity.
- Experience with RTOS environments (NuttX, FreeRTOS, or similar).
- US citizenship and eligibility for security clearance required.
- Willingness to travel internationally to support deployments on-site.
