Forward Deployed Engineer, MES Solutions

📋 Description

• Partner with plant-level and corporate stakeholders to design and deploy Tulip solutions on-site.
• Integrate Tulip with shop-floor systems (PLCs, MES, ERP, quality) using machine data.
• Deploy live in production with minimal disruption; troubleshoot software, data, and workflows.
• Embed with customers at facilities to implement apps, integrations, and workflows.
• Serve as technical authority during deployments on architecture, scalability, security, reliability.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites across North America.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in manufacturing/industrial software; 4+ years in customer-facing roles.
• Hands-on OT experience with MES, ERP, quality, or production systems; architecture and implementation.
• Proven ability to integrate shop-floor systems and devices (PLCs, machine data, production context).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, quality, traceability; able to walk a shop floor and identify improvements.
• Track record leading complex technical initiatives end-to-end in customer-facing contexts.
• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience; degree required.
