Forward Deployed Engineer, Applied AI (Federal Civilian)

📋 Description

• Work with customer systems to build production apps using Claude models.
• Deliver technical artifacts for MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills.
• Provide white-glove deployment support in national security environments.
• Identify repeatable deployment patterns; share insights with Product/Engineering.
• Maintain knowledge of LLM capabilities, deployment patterns, and AI stacks.
• Travel frequently (25-50%) to customer sites.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (FDE or consulting engineer).
• Production experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agent development, and deployment at scale.
• Strong Python skills; experience with TypeScript or Java; shipping production apps.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity with high agency.
• Excellent communication and cross-organizational collaboration.
• Experience with government IT systems or AI deployment patterns is a plus.
