Overview

 

Fortune seeks an experienced executive to lead the expansion of its international licensing program. This role will 

be responsible for

identifying

, qualifying, negotiating, and launching new licensing partnerships, with

an initial

focus on Latin America/Mexico, Africa, Central Asia, and Australia.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Source and evaluate prospective international licensees,

    leveraging

    an established network of publishers, media groups, and related partners.

     

  • Qualify potential partners through business plans and financial models that adapt Fortune’s brand, editorial, and events to local markets.

     

  • Negotiate term sheets and license agreements that balance local market realities with Fortune’s global standards and brand protection.

     

  • Oversee onboarding and launch of licensees, ensuring alignment with Fortune’s editorial, business, and operational requirements.

     

  • Partner with Fortune’s editorial and business teams to ensure licensees receive training, support, and integration into Fortune’s global community.

     

  • Monitor licensee performance and manage ongoing relationships to drive long-term success.

     

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • 10+ years of experience with existing network of licenses across international media, publishing, or licensing.

     

  • Demonstrated

    track record

    of securing and managing successful licensing or partnership agreements.

     

  • Deep, active network of international publishers and media operators.

     

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex term sheets and agreements.

     

  • Commercial acumen with experience assessing financial models, business plans, and

    minimum

    guarantee structures.

     

  • Cross-cultural fluency and ability to adapt Fortune’s global brand for local market success.

     

  • Entrepreneurial,

    hands-on

    operator comfortable building in new markets with limited infrastructure.
