About the role

Join the Pricing Desk Europe (PDE) and play a vital role in driving profit and volume growth at Forto. As a working student, you will support the commercial team by providing timely and accurate quotations and contribute to Forto's growth through collaboration with our tech teams. Your role is essential in delivering precise and prompt quotations, enhancing the customer experience, and advancing Forto’s strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Be part of the Pricing Desk Europe, which is enabling us to further scale the Sea Freight Product.

• Support commercial teams with pricing and pricing strategies.

• Ensure quotational excellence for our customers.

• Manage processes that are sustainable and scalable on a global level.

• Build bridges between innovative Forto Systems and the “traditional” world of Freight Forwarding in close collaboration with our Tech-Product Teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• A curious and analytical mind with an interest in exploring sea freight pricing.

• An open mindset, willing to challenge and see new ways.

• A liking for coordinating processes and strong organizational and time management skills.

• A structured and independent way of working with attention to detail.

• Good Excel or Google Sheets skills and are fluent in English.

• The ability to work independently, but also collaboratively as part of a team.

• Motivation, drive, and flexibility necessary to succeed in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
