📋 Description

• Design bussing, current collection, wire harnesses, and protection for enclosure battery systems.
• Drive design trade studies and system-level solutions for efficiency and reliability.
• Define electro-mechanical interfaces for seamless cross-functional integration.
• Develop data-driven designs for current collection, disconnects, fuses, and harnesses.
• Lead design release with Design-For-Manufacturing principles for high-volume manufacturing.
• Perform simulations and communicate risks, mitigations, and costs to stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic Eng or related field; 5+ years post-bac.
• 5 years prototyping, fabrication, and high-volume manufacturing experience.
• 5 years CAD experience, including SolidWorks or NX.
• 5 years product development, large-scale ramps; 5 years cross-functional leadership.
• 4 years electro-mechanical design; 4 years GD&T and engineering drawings for HV systems.
• 3 years simulations (1D/3D) and 3 years root-cause analyses with quality/manufacturing.
