Overview
Fleetio is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for Fleet Maintenance to design, implement, and scale features that support fleet maintenance workflows. You will own areas such as maintenance scheduling, service history, parts management, inspections, and vendor integrations. This remote-friendly role is open to candidates in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust backend services and RESTful APIs for fleet maintenance features.
- Develop frontend components (e.g., React) for intuitive maintenance dashboards.
- Collaborate with product, design, data teams, and operations to deliver reliable software.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural direction.
- Participate in code reviews, testing strategies, and on-call reliability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong proficiency with modern languages (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript) and data modeling.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
