Regional Sales Manager, Government at Fleetio
Fleetio is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager, Government to lead government sector sales across North America. This remote role requires the ability to build strong relationships with public sector customers, manage complex sales cycles, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet revenue targets.
Overview
- Drive government sector revenue across North America as a remote member of Fleetio's sales team
- Develop and execute strategic plans for government accounts; identify opportunities and close deals
- Build relationships with federal, state, and local agencies; understand procurement processes
Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify government opportunities; manage full sales cycle from initial contact to close
- Forecast pipeline and report on sales metrics to leadership
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to tailor Fleetio offerings to public sector needs
- Represent Fleetio at events, briefings, and industry groups as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of government or public sector B2B sales experience
- Proven track record closing complex deals with government customers
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, North American-based role
- Knowledge of procurement processes (RFPs, bidding, sole-source) is a plus
