Fleetio – Quality Engineer
Fleetio is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our fully remote team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality of Fleetio's fleet management software through manual testing and automated test development. You will collaborate with product and engineering to deliver high-quality software and improve testing processes.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web and API services.
- Execute manual tests when necessary and document results clearly.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to define acceptance criteria and test plans.
- Contribute to the improvement of CI/CD pipelines and test automation strategies.
- Identify, reproduce, and help triage defects; provide clear defect reports in Jira.
- Mentor junior QA teammates and promote best practices in software quality.

Requirements
- 2+ years of quality engineering experience in web or API testing.
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or similar).
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Strong API testing experience (REST, Swagger, Postman).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Experience with Jira, Git, and defect tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with performance/load testing and monitoring.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
