Overview

Fleetio is seeking an Engineering Manager, Reporting & Analytics to lead the analytics engineering team responsible for creating scalable data pipelines and self-serve reporting for the business. This is a remote role supporting North America.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analytics engineers and data analysts.
Own the design, development, and maintenance of reporting platforms, dashboards, and data models.
Collaborate with Product, Data, and Engineering to define metrics and data quality standards.
Build scalable ETL pipelines and data warehouses to support decision making.
Promote best practices in data governance, visualization, and analytical storytelling.
Prioritize work, manage roadmaps, and ensure timely delivery.
Recruit, onboard, and develop talent; participate in code reviews and technical leadership.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering, including at least 2 years in people management.
Strong SQL proficiency; experience with data modeling, ETL, and data warehouses.
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
Excellent communication and collaboration across cross functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; or equivalent experience.
Remote work experience and ability to work across time zones.

Remote across United States, Canada, and Mexico; remote friendly.
