Role overview

We are looking for an Engineering Manager, Platform to lead and grow our Platform engineering team. This full-time remote role will drive architectural decisions, deliver scalable backend services, and mentor engineers across multiple squads. You will partner with product, design, and other engineering teams to build reliable fleet management software used by customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor platform engineering teams across multiple squads
Drive architectural decisions and delivery of scalable backend services
Partner with product, design, and other stakeholders to define roadmaps
Promote best practices in software development, testing, and operational excellence
Represent the platform group in cross-functional initiatives

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering experience with a track record leading platform teams
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
Deep knowledge of scalable backend systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
Experience with CI/CD and modern development tooling
Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; master's preferred
