We're looking for a Director of SMB Sales to join our go-to-market executive team and drive continued YoY growth at Fleetio.

What you'll be doing

The Director, SMB Sales will be the functional leader of our SMB Sales team. Your day to responsibilities will include the following.  

  • Execute against monthly ARR targets, running a high velocity monthly goaled business.  
  • Run a highly data driven daily & weekly operating cadence - spotting trends & adjusting quickly.  
  • Develop the talent strategy for both the acquisition of top talent into SMB and also the skills that translate into SMB promotions.
  • Create the sales motion that leads to high conversion rates of inbound pipeline, both high & low intent.  
  • Build the competency and systems that lead to improving outbound sourcing & outbound sourced ARR.  
  • Work with a team of front line managers to drive results and also develop their leadership skills.  
  • Create and maintain a culture of high standards and excellence.

Our team

You’ll lead the SMB sales team at Fleetio, this group consists of the following teams today.  

  • 3 front line leaders, each running teams of 5-6 AE’s.  
Requirements
  • Track record of beating ARR targets within a high velocity new business sales team.  
  • 6+ years leading high performing sales teams, preferably with some experience as a 2nd line leader.  
  • Fleet or fleet adjacent industry experience is required.  
  • Has worked in both start-up and established company environments.  
  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies, channels and processes.  
  • Natural ability to inspire, develop and coach.
