Position: Account Executive, Public Sector
This remote role is focused on selling Fleetio to government and public sector organizations in North America.
What you will do
- Prospect, qualify, and close new public sector opportunities
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline
- Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments
- Deliver demonstrations and tailored proposals
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Customer Success, and Marketing
- Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of SaaS sales experience selling to public sector or government entities
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes and government contracting
- Ability to work remotely and travel as needed
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
