Porting Engineer

Required skills:

• 2 Years work experience as Porting Engineer, Telecom Provisioning Engineer or similar role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Punctuality and accuracy;
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to do monotonous work;
• Ability to multitask;
• Problem solving skills;
• Understanding of PSTN, IP-telephony, SaaS solutions and call center specifics;
• Experience working via ticketing systems

Responsibilities:

• Set up customer services in accordance with internal procedures and SLAs;
• Process, coordinate and follow-up on porting activity for Local DID, International DID and Toll Free orders.
• Interact with carriers in order to troubleshoot routing issues with phone numbers;
• Work closely with Professional Services, Sales and the other Operations teams to process customer related requests;
• Follow up on pending cases and escalations;
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient workflows, processes, and resource support.
• Monitor for status updates, update corresponding tickets
• Provide updates to customers and internal teams
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
